It is essential to have the right tools on to hand when out in the field. This kit was developed with that in mind. It includes all the essential hand tools needed to repair items in the field. The tools are all made of metal and feature the smallest amount of plastic, so they can be used for a long time. The kit includes a zippered canvas pouch for coalcracker tools, a twist awl, reamer, cutting shears and gimlets (5MM). Then spread a thin coating of glue over the patch to cover an area that is at least as big as the patch itself. Wait for the glue to get tacky, then press the patch down with a firm pressure and secure it.
