Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are an excellent opportunity to earn equipment, weapons and more. They're difficult to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot lets the player to bring pistols into an operation. Some players use this to help reach certain achievements, Rain Bet especially those going for Suit Only. Some players utilize the extra pistol to close the gap. When using this slot, it's important to remember that you will have to click the corresponding pistol category button, like the alternative slot 2 for machine guns, in order to select the category of your choice. Being able to have Major Expedition and Adept Rider on makes it simpler. This combo can also trigger damage from concealed Weapon every 10 seconds for as long as it is placed in.

Smuggled Item Slot

The smuggled item slot a good feature for allowing players to bring in weapons and tools, but it could use a better opportunity. It's currently shaped like the shape of a pistol, making it difficult to differentiate the weapon slot that is smuggled from other slots for gear.

The smuggle slots can be used to store a wide range of items ranging from concussion devices and weapons grade explosives to subtle concussions. These items are covertly stashed in a hidden location on the map and are able to be recovered at any moment. Smuggled items are distinct from Agency Pickups and Hidden Stashes that conceal small items within the scenery or objects directly.

Mission planning is an option available in missions that are episodic. It lets players unlock different starting locations, smuggled objects, and gear slots before they enter the map. As players progress through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning expand. This lets players plan the ideal task for each challenge.

Gear Slot

Early on in the game players will notice their gear slots rapidly fill up, leading to the dreaded "Your Gear Slots are full" message, Rain Bet which blocks Max from acquiring new equipment until old items are cleared or more space is obtained. The solution to this problem is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for fulfilling challenges. However, as the majority of these challenges are scattered throughout the world and can be overlooked, it may take a long time to acquire the most inventory slots that are available in the game.

A player's five Gear Slots can be filled with up to 5 different types of gear. These must be selected in the Gear Selection menu before a Break-Flower Poker in OSRS and RuneScape can begin. Each gear item (except the Pistol) occupies one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades of the same kind) only has one Gear Slot.

Agents can pick up the passengers.

As you progress in Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups across the map. These locations let you store items that don't fit in your concealed weapon or gear slot, and get them back later.

These pickups are useful if your mission requires you to go through a frisk or you have a weapon on you that could cause suspicion. You are only able to hide one item at a pickup location.

This DLC also includes new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. Talk to the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and armor. Then, walk to the stated mission marker and identify a mob at the time of arrival.
